When a death occurs in your family, it is important to contact us as soon as possible so that we can advise you of the correct procedures to follow.

Most deaths are by natural causes and occur in hospitals, aged care homes, and even private residences. In most cases a medical certificate of cause of death will be issued by the attending doctor.

In some cases, however, particularly with sudden or unexpected deaths, a medical certificate cannot be issued and the local Coroner needs to be notified. Alternative procedures are followed and we are able to advise you in these circumstances. After assessing the situation, and obtaining the appropriate clearances, we are able to transfer the deceased in our specially equipped transfer vehicle, to be cared for at our premises. You can be assured that the deceased will be treated with dignity and respect at all times while in our care.
